Sauna Guidelines

Guidelines for Your Infrared Sauna Session

Before Your Session

Please allow at least 60 minutes after eating a meal before your sauna session. This gives your body time to properly digest and ensures a more comfortable experience.

Upon arrival, enjoy at least 8 oz. of water. Proper hydration helps your body adjust to the rise in core temperature and supports detoxification and overall wellness during your session.

Your sauna will be pre-heated 45–60 minutes before your appointment.

Towel & Clothing Guidelines

Fresh towels are always provided for your comfort. We recommend placing one towel on the bench to absorb sweat during your session, and an additional hand towel is available for wiping your face as needed.

We use  super soft comfort and CELLIANT®-infused cotton fabric. CELLIANT’s mineral mix converts body heat into infrared energy in a natural and safe way.

For clothing, please wear a towel wrap, towel, shorts, swimsuit, or undergarments—whatever helps you feel most comfortable during your session.

Electronic Use

Please remove all electronics, including watches and wearable devices, before entering the sauna. High heat can damage them.
For your safety and to protect your devices, phones should be left outside of the sauna during your session.

During Your Sauna Session

Make yourself comfortable using our back and foot rests.
They’re designed to support your posture, reduce pressure, and elevate your overall sauna experience.

You’re always in control.
If at any time you feel too warm, lightheaded, or uncomfortable, you can pause or end your session. Listen to your body. If flu-like symptoms occur, stop your session immediately. If symptoms continue, please consult your healthcare provider.

Don’t worry if you don’t sweat right away.
Many people don’t sweat much during their first few sessions. As your body becomes more accustomed to infrared therapy, sweating typically increases—helping you detox, relax, and feel rejuvenated.

Want to boost your results?
Pure Sweat™ Amplifying Cream can enhance circulation and increase sweating for a deeper session. This can be purchased for an additional cost.

After Your Sauna Session

Hydrate well.
Drink at least 24 oz of water or an electrolyte drink to rehydrate and support your body after sweating.

Cool down naturally.
Use one of our CELLIANT®-infused towels to dry off, and allow your body to cool at its own pace before getting dressed or heading out.

Keep the benefits going.
For optimal results, schedule your next Salt Sauna Light Co. sauna session. Consistency helps your body sweat more efficiently and enhances long-term wellness benefits.
